Choose M240 Silent for a compact, more raised mouse used with one computer. Choose Pebble Mouse 2 M350s if a flatter shape and quick switching among three paired devices matter. Both checked consumer models support Logi Bolt, but neither single-mouse box includes the receiver.
This comparison covers consumer M240 Silent and Pebble Mouse 2 M350s, not M240 for Business, the older M350 or keyboard/mouse bundles. Official sources and the live US store’s specification and box-content panels were checked on October 5, 2026. We have not measured comfort, click noise or wireless reliability. Shape and switching are the main differences
The US M240 Silent specifications and Pebble Mouse 2 specifications list these dimensions and features. The table describes documented characteristics, not a comfort ranking.
| Consideration | M240 Silent | Pebble Mouse 2 M350s |
|---|---|---|
| Length × width × depth | 99 × 60 × 39 mm | 106 × 58.7 × 26.62 mm |
| Profile | More raised, contoured | Flatter, slimmer |
| Easy-Switch profiles | No three-channel feature documented in checked consumer offer | Up to three paired devices |
| Battery | One AA, included | One AA, included |
| Advertised battery life | Up to 18 months | Up to 24 months |
| Basic connection | Bluetooth Low Energy | Bluetooth Low Energy |
| Logi Bolt support / receiver in this box | Compatible / not included | Compatible / not included |
Pebble’s lower profile can be relevant when packing a thin laptop bag. M240’s higher body may suit someone who dislikes a very flat mouse. Your grip, hand size and movement still determine the result; dimensions alone do not establish an ergonomic benefit or less fatigue.
Three saved devices do not mean three simultaneous pointers
The official Pebble setup guide explains pairing up to three devices and using its underside Easy-Switch button to select a channel. This suits alternating between, for example, a laptop, desktop and compatible tablet. It does not mean controlling all three at once.
If you only use one computer, that switching feature may not justify a higher total price. M240’s checked store offer does not document the same three-channel feature. Do not transfer specifications from another Logitech mouse simply because both have a Bluetooth pairing button.
Check Bolt compatibility and actual box contents
Both live US consumer specification panels state compatibility with a separately purchased Logi Bolt receiver. The official M240 specification sheet independently confirms Bolt support and the absent receiver. Their box lists contain the mouse, preinstalled AA battery and documentation, not a receiver. Consequently, M240 should not be described as universally Bluetooth-only, and Pebble should not be described as automatically including a dongle.
If your computer lacks usable Bluetooth, include the correct receiver and any required USB adapter in the budget. Check exact receiver type: the M240 panel explicitly excludes other Logitech USB receiver types, and Pebble’s setup guide specifies Bolt. An old receiver from a different Logitech product is not sufficient evidence of compatibility. Business editions and bundles need their own box-content check.
App features are narrower than basic mouse compatibility
Both current stores list optional Logi Options+ customization on Windows and macOS. A supported basic connection on Linux, ChromeOS, iPadOS or Android does not establish that the same desktop app functions are available there. Confirm the current requirements and Options+ support for your exact system, especially on a managed work computer.
Pebble’s documented customizable middle click can help if a specific shortcut is useful. Its setup guide also covers software-assisted features; distinguish those from the physical channel button. Do not buy either on an assumed guarantee of app installation permission or universal device-to-device automation.
Who should buy each model?
- M240 Silent: one-computer use, a more raised compact body, and a current total price that fits your budget.
- Pebble Mouse 2: a thin bag profile, three paired-device channels or its middle-click shortcut addresses a practical need.
- Keep your current mouse: its shape and connection work. No measured productivity or comfort improvement has been established here.
Battery figures vary with use and computing conditions; they are not our measured results or a reason to assume six months of guaranteed extra use. Both products advertise quieter clicks, but no controlled head-to-head noise test is provided here. Compare current M240 contents and US price with Pebble contents and US price, including needed accessories and local return terms. Stock and offers change. Frequently asked questions
Does either single-mouse box include Bolt?
Neither checked US consumer box includes it. Compatibility and inclusion are different; check Business and combo editions separately.
Is the flatter Pebble automatically more comfortable?
No. Consider your grip and try the shape where possible; the listed dimensions do not prove a universal comfort advantage.
